Herman has over 30 years of experience in architectural design, urban planning and project management. He has been involved in numerous public and private initiatives, including master planning, planning and feasibility studies for residential and commercial projects, architectural design and space planning, as well as numerous commercial, industrial and residential projects.
Together with Principals Al Doutre and Ivica Marinic, Herman leads BCMP Architects, a Calgary-based architectural, planning and interior design practice. His 25 years as a volunteer with the Calgary Stampede and many other groups and organizations over the years such as the Accessible Housing Society of Calgary and current Chair of the Architectural Advisory Committee on Church Architecture for the Anglican Diocese of Calgary have been mainstays of his interests in giving back to the community. Herman enjoys time with friends and sharing the wine he makes as a hobby.
