Omicron Canada Inc. has requalified as a 2019 Canada’s Best Managed Companies Platinum Club member by maintaining our Best Managed status for ten consecutive years. Every year since the launch of the program in 1993, hundreds of entrepreneurial companies have competed for this designation in a rigorous and independent process that evaluates management skills and practices.
The basis of our requalification relates to Omicron’s continued commitment over the past 20 years to create a better experience for our clients and our people. “At the core of Omicron’s business model is the integration of development, design and construction services, and we are always searching for innovative technologies that bridge the gap between these disciplines. We continue to accelerate our adoption of new tools to gain a competitive advantage and additional points of differentiation in the marketplace. We know that it’s not what we do, but how and why we do it, that sets us apart from our competition,” said Bill Tucker, CEO.
Established in 1993, Canada’s Best Managed Companies is one of the country’s leading business awards programs recognizing Canadian-owned and managed companies that have implemented world-class business practices and created value in innovative ways. Applicants are evaluated by an independent judging panel on overall business performance, including leadership, strategy, core competencies, cross-functional collaboration throughout organization, and talent.
“Being amongst the best in class requires more than financial performance,” said Peter Brown, Partner, Deloitte and Co-Leader, Canada’s Best Managed Companies program. “Achieving sustained growth and strong overall business performance is the result of the combined efforts and commitment of the entire organization.”
