Omicron was Architect of Record and Construction Managers for Deloitte Canada’s new Vancouver headquarters. As the anchor tenant of Westbank’s new “Deloitte Summit” office tower at 410 West Georgia in Vancouver, BC, Deloitte now occupies 120,000 sq.ft. of the 24-storey building.

The detailed design of this tenant improvement (TI) encompassed Deloitte’s comprehensive package of international interior standards being incorporated and coordinated within this unique property in Vancouver. Omicron Interiors successfully integrated diverse design elements to meet Deloitte’s workplace standards. Working closely with Deloitte’s team from Toronto and Vancouver, we ensured drawings and specifications complied with Vancouver’s local codes and maintained geographical relevance. This collaboration resulted in a workspace that inspires creativity, problem-solving, and innovation while reflecting Deloitte’s strong workplace ethos.

This site posed distinctive challenges, notably the 6-petal star-shaped floor plates and the integration of three levels of interconnected stairs, which were built and coordinated prior to base building completion. Omicron’s integrated teams exemplified the benefits of working with a single, dedicated firm committed to project success. The collective efforts turned Deloitte’s vision of a cutting-edge, unique workplace, into a successfully thriving office building and sought-after location they love to work from.

In May 2024, Deloitte Summit project received the Best Tenant Improvement Over 10,000 sq. ft. award at the 2024 NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Awards. The award acknowledges the best tenant improvement in 2022 and 2023 for projects over 10,000 sqft., considering quality, functionality, leasing, sustainability, financial performance, and innovation.
