TELUS Marina aims to elevate the nature of an underused industrial site, in East Porpoise Bay, Sechelt, BC. Through framing of views, showcasing of natural features, placement of buildings on the edge of distinct outdoor spaces, and by directing people along a path to the waterfront, building design becomes secondary to the natural world on this site.

The redevelopment of this 1,578 acre site will include a restaurant building with four tourist accommodation suites, as well as a community gathering building with a marine maintenance shop attached. The proposal also includes the restauration of a naturalized foreshore across the entire inlet side frontage, continuation of the public waterfront path along the foreshore, an extensive integrated landscape and the tree management plan to retain mature growth trees and enhance the site with new plantings, an access drive to a renovated private boat launch, and parking for pedestrians.
