WorldPac is the first building at Richmond Industrial Centre, at 200,000 sq.ft. and 32 ft clear height. It was constructed using tilt-up concrete with internal steel columns and roof joists, designed to support efficient logistics and distribution operations.

Constructed at the peak of the pandemic, this building exemplifies resilience in project management, delivered on time and within budget. In addition, Omicron’s project management, design and construction teams worked in true IPD fashion to complete the base building construction and tenant improvements concurrently, highlighting the efficient execution and management of the overall project by the project team.

WorldPac features two single-storey office spaces totaling 17,900 sq.ft. Also, a specialized fire protection solution was required to accommodate the storage of flammable materials. As the solution was costly, the design team coordinated extensively with Worldpac’s logistics team to minimize the area required for the storage.
