Exciting Omicron Announcement – Building on 25 years of Success

We are thrilled to announce that Omicron’s key management team, led by Bill Tucker, CEO; Korey Roberts, SVP Construction; Pablo Yuste, SVP Architecture; Hank Sam, CFO; and George Sawatzky, SVP, have acquired 100% ownership of Omicron and all entities from parent company, Nexii Building Solutions Inc. (Nexii) in an all-cash deal. This marks a significant milestone in the future of the company as we celebrate the past 25 years of success and look forward with excitement to growing our business over the next 25 years.

As we enter a new chapter, our focus is on growth, market diversification, and continuing to create efficiencies for our clients through our integrated design, construction, and development management service offering. Our mission is to challenge conventional paradigms and relentlessly pursue better, faster, and more cost-effective building processes. We will continue to deliver projects that create extraordinary building experiences for our clients.

Since 1998, Omicron has remained one of Western Canada’s largest truly integrated companies, with over 140 in-house professionals and an 80% rate of repeat clients. We are excited to continue to grow with you as we enter the next phase of business.

Recent Omicron / Nexii History

In July 2021, Nexii and Omicron signed a merger agreement in which Nexii acquired Omicron as a wholly owned subsidiary. Both companies shared a vision of revitalizing the construction industry by challenging traditional market practices with innovative technologies that allowed for fast, efficient development of sustainable, more affordable, durable and disaster-resilient buildings.

On January 11, 2024, Omicron’s parent company, Nexii Building Solutions Inc. (Nexii), filed for creditor protection, following financial challenges in the current market. Despite this setback, Omicron remained an independently operated going concern entity, and the filing did not impact our financial or operational stability. Omicron has remained a profitable business since 1998, and we are excited to continue our successes as we embark on the Company’s new chapter.

Thank you for your continued loyalty and support.

Bill Tucker, CEO
