Allandale District - omicronaec

In the fall of 2019 Omicron Development Inc. purchased approximately 20 acres in Colwood known as the Allandale lands. Now named Allandale District™, the majority of land was zoned M2 and, under the City of Colwood’s 2018 OCP, was designated Mixed-Use Employment. After five years of exciting work, the area has been transformed and has become a thriving commercial centre.

691 Allandale Road is fully leased to Victoria Shipyards (VicShip). The 82,000 sq.ft. of warehouse and office space was completed in September 2022. Omicron with partner Lotus Capital Corp., jointly the developer and owner, worked hand-in-hand with VicShip to design the buildings for VicShip’s requirements and to deliver a turnkey, ready-to-move into facility.

681 Allandale Road, is a 3.2 acre site and has been developed by Sherringham Holdings Ltd. and now named Allandale Centre, features a variety of commercial retail opportunities, including Quick Serve Restaurants, such as McDonald’s, Domino’s, Popeyes and other commercial office uses. It started construction in September 2022 and was complete in Fall 2023.

651 Allandale Road, was sold, and is now the new home of the Glenoak Ford Dealership. Omicron developed the lands and provided design and construction services. Glenoak has enjoyed occupancy since September 2023.

650 Allandale Road, now renamed Wildcat Industrial, finalized construction in May 2024 with our partners Nicola Wealth Real Estate and Lotus Capital Corp. It offers three buildings across 6.37 acres, with three strategic access points off Allandale and Wildcat Road. Strata Industrial unit sizes start from 3,000 sq.ft. to 36,000 sq.ft. with grade and dock loading. Wildcat Industrial provides state of the art Strata units for purchase in the burgeoning Westshore.
